We were evacuated from Houston during hurricane Harvey. We made a reservation for Wednesday night Thursday night and Friday night with check out on Saturday. On Friday morning we found out that we were going to be able to go back down to Houston and check on our daughters homes. We let the front desk know that we would be checking out and would like a refund for Saturday we were told that because of a event in Canton on the first week weekend of the month there are no refunds. We explained our situation with the hurricane and were told they still would not give us a refund for the last day. I called the 800 number for quality Inn in and explained our situation they told us they would send an email to the manager and request that he refund the money they gave me a confirmation number for the email. When we checked out the manager was not there so I left the confirmation number for the email and my phone number and asked that he call me. He neither call me nor he refund our money.
If this is what quality inn calls hospitality I would never recommend staying at this quality inn .
This quality has just been renovated and I have to say, out of the few hundred or so Quality Inns I've stayed at over the last decade, this is by far the nicest. The carpet in the rooms has been pulled out and replaced with wooden flooring. This is the smartest thing I've ever seen in a motel, only a few others I've stayed at have been like this. In any motel, if your pillow falls off the bed onto the carpet, it's game over. You know it'll be covered in hair, so you leave it there. Not here. Now you'll be able to pick that pillow up knowing the floor is clean.
We LOVE this place! We stayed here the first time a few months ago, when the Quality Inn in a nearby town, was booked. I'm so glad we did! The staff are ALWAYS super helpful, and it's not just 1 or 2, but everyone we have dealt with here: Jill, Beth, Lily, and the manager, Jay, and last but not least, the cleaning staff. We have our favorite room we stay in, and I threaten to steal the bed each time because it's THAT comfortable. We both suffer with back problems, and we've finally found one that meets our standards for a good night's sleep. Yes, there are more upscale hotels around, but when I need to get away, this place fits the bill: easy to find, truly excellent service from the entire staff, privacy, clean, and reasonably priced! Keep up the good work, and we'll see you soon!!
Perfect great stay. Very clean upgraded rooms nice courtyard felt safe beds comfy shower pressure great.
Awesome staff very friendly and helpful. Husband had to do a job in Athens and we had been driving since 4am and they let me check in earlier then the check in time. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were really comfy. Swimming pool area was really clean and quiet. The parking area was lit up and felt safe
