The staff is wonderful but the room was not. It smelled of...I guess maybe smoke. The floors were buckled and the overall decor was sparse. The room was huge with so much negative space, most of the furnishings were on one side of the room.
The staff was so wonderful! Very accommodating when we needed extra sheets and pillows for an air mattress we brought for our son. Room was okay, we loved the modernization of it however the bathroom door wouldn't shut right and the bedding does need to be looked at a little more closely. It could just be us but we don't like stains and rips. The beds were not comfortable. I personally don't like that we had to ask for a hair dryer instead of it just being in the room. We also didn't like the fact that the pool was locked up when we had told our kiddos they could go swimming when we got there. Putting another ice machine in at the opposite end of the hotel would be great instead of having the only one by the front desk. Positive note the new flooring, furnishings and TV are great and the shower pressure was awesome! Again staff was so wonderful!!! Overall we got what we paid for.
I give them credit for trying to update but they just failed in the execution. Again, the staff made the stay for me.
We have stayed here every year when visiting Yesterland Farm, including before the remodel. The rooms have always been clean and nicely sized. Some rooms used to be suites so they're much larger and have adjoining doors to other rooms but I don't know if they allow for guests needing multiple rooms to have the doors open between them. They provide generous mini fridges, which when you have food allergies is a real bonus. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The pool is always clean. It's also easy to find off the freeway and there are several gas stations and eateries within walking distance. The rates are among the cheapest outside of Trade Days weekends, so I would say these guys provide the best bang for your buck.
The price was exceptional...you get what you pay for.
They were very nice, helped us out with and early check in. Room was comphy too. Very pleased over all. Will use them again on another trip.
We were on our way home from West Texas and needed a place to stay before heading home. We booked the room online and we enjoyed our stay in Canton, TX. The room was very nice. Loved the updated features. and the wood floors were a nice touch. The price was great also. If I'm ever in the area again I will stay here.
