The Thompson Airpark, is a small airport that sits equally between Tyler & Dallas in the beautiful Lone Star State of Texas, where aviation lover's are united through a commonality of propeller passion. The quite & quaint subdivision, if you will, is a hidden gem just off the I-20 corridor. The Airport Owners are wonderful people and are adored all throughout our community, not just in the Airpark. The Facilities for Pilots are top notch, where planes have the right of way and the environment of the location offers tranquility, big spacious lots, well water or city water, private lake access, privacy and last but not least, friendly people. When you visit or decide to move here, it is place where you can borrow from your neighbor a cup of sugar for cooking or gather aviation advice if your building your own plane. There are two sections of this Aviation Subdivision: the Hangar home side and Custom Built homes (from moderate sized homes to Mega homes). There is a spot for everyone, even if your not a Pilot! People you could find living here, Texas State Senator, Doctors, Surgeons, Professional Pilots, Teachers, Retired and happy people! It is a lovely place in the heart of Texas.
